4 straight days off work to enjoy and how did I spend it? Sick. Ugh. Of course, now that it is Sunday evening I am starting to feel better. I am still sniffling, but my voice is back and I should be somewhat presentable for work tomorrow.
Why is it that sickness seems to come on vacations/holidays?

Maybe its something about your body starting to relax for the days off - right when the nasty viral buggers attack! Hope you had some chicken soup.

Yeah, it started off fun...even Willy Wonka-ish...then it got dark as we waited 30 minutes for Dustim Hoffman to die...and another 15 as everyone grieved for him.
Sorry for the spoiler...but you weren't gonna see it anyway!
I think sickness comes on the holidays because of how stressed everyone is tryign to get things done...
I think that is it. I get stressed out and hold it all in. The minute I stop to breathe, I get sick.
